This week over at The Tangle Corner Daniel’s challenge was to use Phicops, a spiffy little tangle pattern that was developed by the Diva’s husband, Mr. “B-rad” Harms.
This week’s Diva Challenge was to do a white on black tile or tangle on a found object. As my white pens rarely cooperate with me, I went with the found object.
Just to mix things up, this week I added a new challenge to my list of things to do. In addition to the Diva’s challenge, I decided to try my hand at the Tangelation Creation challenge.
This weeks Diva’s Challenge was in honor of Earth Day and we were asked to “go wherever the challenge takes you”. All I can say to that is.. Ha!
This week the Diva’s Challenge was to trace an object to use as a string. In honor of our remodel being nearly finished, I chose one of the old socket covers from the kitchen.
The bunzo pattern for this week’s challenge reminds me quite a bit of the 1970’s, or at least what I can remember of them. Bring on the bell bottoms!
This week’s Diva’s challenge comes from CZT Maria Vennekens, who asks us to create a Zentangle without using existing patterns. This was a tough one!
This piece, like a lot of my more recent work, is in color. That’s a BIG change for me considering that just a year ago using color in my work scared the billiards out of me.
