The 24th was my mother’s birthday. This year I gave her a box a hand-decorated box, and today, I’m sharing the process with you.

This week’s love note is for my middle child, Ryan. He only half deserves it, but I love him all the same… what can I say?
Like most things I do, this week’s Love Note didn’t quite turn out how I had thought it would, for one it’s a lot darker than I planned, but I still love it.
May is a very special month for me. In addition to Mother’s day on May 10th, both my oldest son and my mom were born this month, in fact their birthdays are only four days apart!
One benefit of living in the west is that you never have to go very far to get away from the chaos of the modern world. Come, take a ride with me on the roads least traveled.
This has been a long, difficult, and rather painful week here in Toula Boula Land… but just like in one of my favorite children’s books, there’s a happy ending.
